I've always found this guy's story to be fascinating. Who knows if it is true, but the concept of creating and projecting a gravity field that 'pulls' you rather than pushes you explains a lot about the reported movements of UFOs.
Also gravity can move the fabric of space faster than light (as a blackhole does). So if you could project a focused gravity field that remains in front of you it would be possible to move faster than light.
For those of you that don't know about him, check it out. If nothing else it is a very interesting story.
