I not sure about that. But it's always the case of 'baggage' experience carries with it.
I certainly would vote for Bernie ! Perhaps Liz Warren.
There are some folks on the other side who potentially could have my vote, but I doubt they run with so many getting geared up for it now.
It's going to be ugly no matter how you slice it on the republican side if trump is in there.
I would rather have these 2 qualities in my potential pick.
'Strongly Principled' and has a history to show me that (even if I disagree with some of it)
'Conciliatory' and has a history to show for that.
A guy like GHW Bush... yes, he has been a favorite when that was not popular.
Perhaps now in his passing, others now see what I seen. I was well read on him then.
Bernie fits that mold good enough for me.
I want to hear what you intend to do more than 'they are bad, evil, communists'.
That's a sign you have no ideas worth mentioning or that they would scare folks !
