No, this is not what 'the left' does. This is what a few people who get too caught up in their own power do when they run out of actual enemies and problems.
But this story in particular? Is corporations making preemptive moves to avoid possible lawsuits from nutbars. The rest is fake outrage generated specifically by facebook manipulation.
If it were up to me? i'd ban all xmas music. Not only do i find it offensive, i find it offensively horrible because they play the same fucking 8 songs every year, earlier and earlier in any store and people pretend they love it.
Name one album, your most favourite album of all time and play it in every single public place you go for a whole 2 months and you tell me how annoying that music will become...
