Someone who hates a lobbying group that promotes easier ownership of the most powerful firearms available is someone who also hates freedom. There are different levels of freedom for a healthy, functioning society. Driving a car and owning a gun shouldn't be on the same level.
Here comes the dumb argument that cars should be banned also because people die in auto accidents.

Actually it easier to own a gun than a car.. A car requires a drivers license in which you have to pass a written and skill a test as well as be of a certian age. You then have to register that car and have insurance on it to protect others in case you harm them while driving that car. If you dont obey the laws while using that car you can get ticketed or have your right to use the car revoked..
Meanwhile.. pretty much anyone including a criminal or a 10 year old kid can own a gun...
