Brand-new but probably factory-refurbished model. Apple replaced a dying iPad with this recently. Worked fine until last week then was a hit-or-miss issue. Tonight it cant be fixed (yet).

Usually, when you type, you see suggested words or spelling above the keyboard. Right now the area is grayed out with the password key at the far right. Last week it happened here and there, but it is constant at Gfy tonight. But, I switched tabs and came back and now it’s fine.

I designate a font in Settings but it never changes. Last night it did for every site. Just switched tabs and it loaded the bigger font but instantly went back to screen font.

I can’t load the hdd like in Windows so cant search for odd files. One site— the one changing font —has popups from the same dirtbags. I block popups in Chrome but this fucker bypasses that setting. They use trademarked names in domains and all are dot desi or dot oh oh oh. I notified the registrar (forget the name but it’s common), the host (ns.cloudflare) and the privacy company. I notified legal@ Walmart, Google, Apple, AT&T and others. Scanned for viruses and deleted cookies and no change.

I don’t know if the issue with suggested words is related to an exploit or not, but I’d like it fixed. Figured someone here is a whiz at iOS.
