even worse rates for Poland (around 300 k military death, 6 mlns civilans killed including 3 mlns Poles of Jewish origin)
btw. military deaths in Soviet Union were kind of similar to civilian deaths - around 10 mlns for each of them.
this explains a lot how harsh was eastern front, how big was the Soviet put into Alllied victory and how "big" was respect for conscripts life in Soviet army
