anti semitism was and is spread in Europe, both pre and after ww2. But its not Poles that created death camps and "fabriques of death" - industrial killing not seen in the history - these were Germans under nazi ideology. No fault whatsoever of Poles in that.
It was also not Poles that were driven by crazy ideology to enslave or kill the whole planet, and specially lands east to Germany. It was a German idea that resulted in ww2,
The country that started WW2 is also Germany, no one else.
Btw. So many Russians these days actually forget that Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were in kind of good relations together, and they together attacked Poland. Soviets didnt mind at all the war crimes that Nazis were comitting in Poland on huge scale. Heck, they also comitted some of them by themselves (much smaller scale though).
I consider mentioned Polish law as simply stupid. First of all, it bans any possibility for any open discussion, which is just stupid and not right. Second, usually things that are forbidden by law are more "demanded" - so I bet that this law will have the opposite effect as they want.
And last but not least - Poland was the only country in German Nazi occupied Europe, where any help to Jews (like hiding them and so on) was punishable by law created by occupying Nazi Germans by DEATH. Yet, there were still tens of thousands if not hundreds of 1000s Poles that been helping - hiding in their homes, preparing false documents, giving food etc.
And yes, unfortunately there were also Polish people that profited or tried to profit on this situation by "selling" Jews to Nazis etc. Bear in mind though that such activities were punishable by Polish Underground and Home Army - which were basically the biggest underground/ partisan organisations during WW2 in Europe. Anyway, its certain that there were Polish people that did bad things during ww2. Just like some Poles by themselves killed around 1,000-2,000 Jews in few pogroms during ww2 and shortly after (total number of Jews killed in Holocaust organised by Nazi Germans - around 6 mlns). Those happened mostly in Eastern Poland. Some of these pogroms were actually so brutal that local Jews asked for help Germans...
And yeah, lets also not forget about total devastation of Poland (one of the highest civilian losses in the world, destroyed cities, infrastrcuture etc) during WW2 - so it was actually a place where not only Jews suffered
