This is the end result of Trump's "on the fly depending on whomever the last person I talked to" foreign policy. He didn't consult with ANYONE in the United States government, and didn't consult with ANY of our allies. He has no clue of what he is doing.

What did we expect? We elected someone with no political experience at all.
