Even if a new trade deal is hammered out, the market share is already gone so to get it back new deals would have to be cut by the sellers and buyers meaning most likely the farmers get fucked again even if they can get the market share back..

Trump has fucked the US.. the meat industry alone has said they expect to lose a billion dollars in sales over the next 5 years due to exports lost from the tarriffs..
