So there are people that while the economy is on his highest point want to take in more 'refugees' cause they are needed to work. With the new crisis coming there will be more unemployment and the 65+ refugees that never worked will get a pension, housing, wellfare... More work means more pollution. Did you know that having children is more bad for the environment than eating meat all day, while driving a car? Instead of spending billions to CO2 reduction, you could also be more selective who you let in. I mean, why take refugees with big families in, cost money and the climate will be 0,00001 Celsius higher in 2030. For some people 0,00001 Celcius higher is a reason to spent billions of euro's to prevent that.
And than the most important. Germany is in the EU. In Germany the right are also winning, like in many other countries in Europe. The reason in many cases; they want stricter border controls and keep their culture. Nice that the 'refugees' are working, is it worth a clash between countries and people in the EU? Can you force the 49,5% people that doesn't wan't them, to take them in? That is how civil wars start. That is why you see more and more nazi's. Merkel created them. I know more and more people that used to vote social, they are turning right fast. And cause President Rutte lied so many times and now people see on their latest bankaccount how much his environment deals costed, there are only two alternatives left in Holland; Wilders or Forum for Democracy. And they will win more, the Dutch elections are in March.
In my opinion Germany is acting like they doing a good job with the 'refugees'', while their partners in the EU starts to hate them. But looks like Germany chooses for $$$$$$
