Not really idiots.
Bill Clinton was charged with 2 federal crimes: Perjury, and Obstruction of Justice.
According to Wikipedia:
Perjury is the intentional
act of swearing a false oath or falsifying an affirmation to tell the truth, whether spoken or in writing, concerning matters material to an official proceeding
Obstruction of justice, in United States jurisdictions,
is a crime of obstructing prosecutors or other (usually government) officials.
Now personally I've never cared how a government leader got his jollies, and I always liked Bill Clinton, but the law is the law, right? No matter how cool someone may be, if they broke the law, they should be held accountable, right?
Trump is seen by some to be a stand-up guy but this shouldn't matter. Even if he was single-handedly responsible for the low unemployment rate and 100 other positive things, shouldn't he still be impeached like Clinton was if he broke the law?
And shouldn't lawyers and investigators be allowed to do their job to determine if Trump did indeed break the law? They went after Hillary a dozen times or something for the email scandal.
If Bill can be impeached, and if Hillary can be investigated, the same must be allowed regarding Trump.
