I watched this episode the other night. It was really good. I love The Orville. Except for 1 or 2 dull episodes, each one is interesting and the writing is pretty smart. It's more "Star Trek" than the current "Star Trek: Discovery". It looks and feels like Star Trek TNG, but the stories and characters feel closer to Star Trek TOS.
So far the best episode for me was where they discover a planet moving between 2 universes and faster through time. A crew member goes to the planet, uses technology tp heal a little girl who falls, and the society grows over time to make that healer into a God that they eventually have wars over. Excellent story.
