Politicians lie, get over it. They do this to get elected, to please their donors and to hide the truth. The good thing is now everyone is up in arms about politicians lying, okay only one at the moment.
What has happened over the last 40 years has been a shift towards corporations and away from the people. Real unemployment is booming, wages stagnated, debt increased, more in poverty, more relying on welfare, industry gutted, a reliance on banking that is doomed to bring problems and the emergence of a new Third World dictatorship as a world power.
That's what politicians deliver.
