Most people who take such views are in lofty positions in life.
That's not to say they weren't hard earned.
But the flame changes pace doesn't it.. the connection thins. Important to remember the burn.
I wish I could cure myself of empathy as well.. Oh how it aches for something greater than myself, and true across all aspects of life. But I fear we don't get there without restablishing some very "common sense" and "greater good" values.
When I grew up, I was taught the importance of ecosystems.
Often I think about the Galapagos.
Why is it so difficult for people to be real and authentic? To cut the bullshit.. Being offended seems like it takes the piss out of everything and stunts development rather than encouraging it.
"The new world order" as you say.. I believe has a lot more of this in mind. Partition, fear, control, paranoia and most importantly.. monetization.
But who knows.. Maybe those same fellows who devised WW1 have good things in mind for our future on this planet? Hasn't much felt like that the past 15 years though
