He is claiming it was money that was "past due". Bullshit. That was for work he did during Trump's campaign during the election. No one says "oh yeah, I forgot to mention I am getting an extra $2.4 million for past due work".
You already know where this is going. There is not going to be any emails between him and Ukrainians saying "Oh, we owe you extra money from past work". If there was no communication between him and his former employer about money due from past work.... I would say "connect the dots" but we are way past that point now aren't we?

As far as your payment is concerned.. Yes it is 100% likely that Manafort was lobbying for Ukraine on Trumps watch.. Or at least planned to.. It's said in those unredacted redactions that they wanted to discuss Ukraine Peace Plan.... Peace with who? Russia....
