I'm since 20 years webmaster and never had a problem with not linking, because some normal sponsors contact the webmaster to make an agreement and not just run the host like a small kid run to mom
Also you could clear but a note on the affiliate program, this is not the case her
I have over 40 sites and all are self hosted so I pay allot of money for hostings and the videos have a intro and watermark ... they want also a link ???
The most what I don't like how the complain
Last week another tube, same videos, complain to Google not to the host
Yesterday this tube complain to host not to Google
If you force rules you should force the same for everybody
