Long ago I often thought the gov't was somehow tasking Hollywood to condition and de-sensitize the general public about the existence of extraterrestrial life through movies (i.e. "Close Encounters", E.T., etc.)...so that when the day came to officially announce their existence the world wouldn't panic and be thrown into total chaos. I think the gov't still fears this scenario if the truth be told.
Or its all a bunch of hooey. Like I said, I'm not entirely convinced either way. I've known Lazar's story from way back when it originally came out, and watched the Larry King interview...and he seems convincing and legit. But I still question why wait three decades to re-surface? I don't know if I buy his explanation on this. And he seemed a little vague with some of his answers - especially with the physical description of the alien he claims to have seen firsthand.
My only question at this point is whether I'll live long enough to see/hear the real truth... one way or another.

There are now so many evidences. Testimonies by people like Gordon Cooper, Edgar Mitchell, an FAA director, a pilot who flow Obama, etc, etc. Hundreds of people. Hundreds of documents. Radar logs, Samples, and so on. If all this was about a trial for murder, one would have been fried on the electric chair long ago. Its just that many people want an alien to knock at their door to believe it.
Watch this interview from last month, may help you see what is going on. Looks like yes you should live long enough to live in a world where this is accepted globally.
