I just don't understand why anyone would be like this.
A few years ago I was picking up my kid at high school when shots rang out. I'll never forget it. My daughter was in the middle of of grassy area between the school itself and the parking lot and she just froze. I mentioned for her to come to my car and seconds later over the PA system they announced the school was in lockdown. We quickly left the school. For a sixteen year old kid... It's scary.
I could not imagine what it's like to be a sixteen year old kid and live through having a dozen of your classmates shot.
