It's because they SHOULDN'T be horrified in the first place. Matter of fact...if they were true showbiz people (and not wannabe "marks" trying to fit in), they would have loved that whole scenario and used it in a "bit" by telling the story of Louis CK fucked up and jerking off for their own show.

If you are in the porn biz, someone jerking off is normal. If you are a stand up comic, it is not. Had he just told them some graphic jokes or even told them stories about sexual things he had done in the past, no problem. But I can see how someone could be in that situation, not like it, and not leave because they are afraid of the repercussions.
Of course, we are all different. You would have laughed it off. They didn't. People are allowed to respond to things differently.
I'm not saying Louis should be banned from doing comedy. I think he is very funny. But if people decide they don't want to go see him or they want to heckle him, so be it. The market speaks.
