I like her. She isn't "crazy" acting like the other Dems in Washington D.C.
She agrees with Pres. Trump on most of the big issues: Pulling out of Syria, building walls on the border where they are needed (which is what the current Trump proposal is).
In other words...she doesn't give a shit about what the bureaucracy thinks.
She was one of the first Democrats to meet with Trump. She believes in meeting and talking with people that oppose you.
She even went to Syria and sat down with Assad.
THAT is the kind of thing that candidate Obama promised he would do back during the 2008 campaign (one of the reasons I voted for him then).
In the interview with Van Jones she came across as a very smart and serious person. She didn't use ANY of the Pelosi/Shumer talking point tag-lines. She came right out and said that if we "Don't have a border, we don't have a country" (that's a Trump quote).
She came right out and said it was a "wise decision" by Trump to pull out of Syria.
In other words...she's not playing partisan politics. She said she wants what is best for the country. The other Dems and their media cronies just knee-jerk react to anything Trump says and oppose it. This was refreshing.
The only problem is...running against Trump in 2020. I have my doubts that anybody can beat him.
And I also have doubts that she can fight her way through the ultra-liberal/socialist wing of the Democrat party in the primary.
But from what I saw today...if she did, I wouldn't be upset with that at all.
I think she would be better served to wait until 2024. People will be tired of Republicans by then and ready for a "change" to Democrat in the White House.
