England will be far better off without those small areas hanging onto the UKs money. Let them leech off the EU instead.

The UK will suffer initially from a drop in trade, that will be mirrored by the same drop in trade by the EU. That's based on £ so don't come back with %. The EU will still lose as many jobs as the UK.

Although Vesterbirk expects the UK’s negotiations to be dauntingly tough, he’s not as pessimistic about the country’s long-term fate as many Remainers. “The UK maybe will not be better off, but not worse,” he says. “At the end of the day, it’s in the interests of both parties to have very close cooperation, especially in trade.”
But the real bonus is we will be free of Brussels and freedom comes with a price. We joined the Common Market, were never given a chance to vote on joining the EU.

You can keep that suffocating noose around your neck. We chose freedom.
