Not racebaiting or anything like that, though lots of versions on youtube start with him pushing her. According to the news story I saw last night about this, he was breaking up a fight when all this happened. I think we can agree that he should not have pushed the girl, even though she laid hands on him first.
BUT, he's surrounded and she charges in with her fists raised - I think an argument can be made that he was defending himself.
