I was an affiliate with a company, did a lot of biz with them, partied with them they flew me all around the world to numerous meet ups.
I'm a chronic reformed gambler and used to run thousands of gambling sites, but the reality was I'd never played online. However once I did, to one of the casinos I promoted, I put in 150 and lost it in 20 minutes, so like the addictive gambling moron I was I put in another 300
Through the next 6 hours I tuned that 300 into over 20k eventfully finishing my night 11k up, so I requested a pay out
Fuck me I spent the next 3 months trying to get that money and it was only because of my affiliate status that I was able to get any at all under threat of pulling traffic.
I've never played online since, and I got my 11k
