You can't have this both ways. The author distributes Flowplayer in his software. Flowplayer is GNU GPL v3. The author did not write Flowplayer, Flowplayer is the result of hundreds of hours of work by others. He sells software containing the software written by others.

That's an incredibly lame argument. Flowplayer was meant to be a free video player with paid upgrades to remove the branding. You on the other hand, have threatened to strip the licensing mechanism from my software and distribute it for free, just to make yourself look like some kind of hero. You only made yourself look like a fool and low-life. I promised you would regret this.
