Isn't it crazy how the internet can turn something as minuscule and fleeting as a person's baffled smirk into a global drama and a global scandal? Without the internet, it would have been hardly noticed. But as it is, we currently have university professors designing college courses around this event for study.
If someone comes up to you while you're waiting for a bus and starts beating a drum in your face, how is one supposed to react? What is the proper reaction to that?
Does anyone actually start their day mentally rehearsing what they'd do in case some random person starts beating a drum in their face?
