Insanely misleading title.
There is no gov't ban on adult magazines in stores.
A few convenience store chains decided to stop selling them. That's it.
The one near me still does (Family Mart of all places) and it's crazy that there's almost 20 magazines being printed monthly for general distribution (doesn't even count the fetish magazines sold only in smaller shops) in an era when print media is supposed to be dying.
