I was watching some art videos on YouTube tonight and almost every channel had its own little flashy intro. I usually skip those or complain that it's a waste of 20 seconds of my time...but I had the thought "everyone can have their own fucking TV station and create a brand". It's just fucking cool.
I remember back in 2006 (maybe 2007) someone asked me if I've ever been to YouTube.
I said "U2? The band?"
"no...YouTube. Y.O.U....tube. People upload their own videos and the whole world can see it."
"Oh I get it. It's a tube for you. Sounds stupid".
