Man, all of this could have de-escalated if everyone had a little bit more tact.
The blonde could have just gotten up and asked politely to change seats (there seemed to be plenty available). No need to fat shame.
And the couple could have offered to switch things up to knowing how big they are. We can't really see how big they are, but if they truly were too big, they could be self-aware enough to offer the lady the chance to switch up seats or buy the middle seat.
Everyone just poorly handled this situation.
