Try to dance around the subject or deflect all you want, the fact that his first reaction wasn't to immediately deny he is a racist speaks volumes.

If I were to ask him: "Are you a pedophile?" You'd expect his immediate response to be: "NO!" Any other answer would be questionable, especially some song and dance about trying to define what a pedophile is or to deflect the question.
