The Green New Deal really is a ridiculous, over-ambitious list of liberal wet dream items. But I don't think anyone is expecting a majority, or even a small part of this list is going to get done. Why not go big? If you accomplish a fraction of it then you will have achieved quite a bit.
Corey Booker made a good point. He was saying that going to the moon was a ridiculous idea, but look what happened there. Aim high and do what you can.
