He's lying but it's not new for a Fox news host. The issue is morons who watch him will believe it.
I mean sure there are a lot of misconceptions out there. Example if you wash dishes in the sink, it doesn't matter if you use hot or cold water. The reason is you will never get the water hot enough to actually kill bacteria so it's no different than cold water.
