I doubt there is a person here that knows what AI really is.
I can tell you that right now, it does not exist. It is a buzz word.
You should not FEAR TECHNOLOGY, but you should fear HOW IT IS USED. Regulate it. I know just the sound of that will turn folks off. But by the time you understand, it will be to late and may be already as I write.
A computer will never be able to do what a human 'can not do', but it 'can do' what a human can do much faster and with a higher level of accuracy.
Our fate will fall in the fact that we will rely on it ever more increasingly,
letting it make more decisions faster than we can check it for error, or a hack.

Yes you do need to fear tech.
But I am sorry to say this tech you need to fear is already all around you and has mapped you like a email forever floating in cyberspace.
You are all 5+ years behind in awareness and having the ability to effect your own demise.
Trumps action is strictly political and that means it is about money. If you think Trump is doing you a favor somehow, think again and follow the money.
But it changes little in the broader scope of things.
