Its weird how the moon is essentially another planet located in the "sweet spot" in the solar system. The perfect distance from the sun for a planet to be teeming with life and fertility. Yet, its a cold lifeless rock compared to the Earth. A complete opposite.
If you envision New York City on one side of the moon, and Los Angeles on the other side, the scale would be just about perfect.
Timocharis Crater is roughly the same size the Earth would be, if the moon was the sun.
