The Republicans are really ready to die on any hill Trump chooses. They're fucking traitors. Our system is set up in a way so these kind of things don't happen...but it doesn't work when one party is full of idiots.
We really need to have requirements for our elected officials. A basic IQ and psychological test. Weed out the morons and sociopaths. Some of them are both.
