Google mail story from today
I created a new gmail account around 1 week ago, saved password in a text file like I always do and had to confirm the creation of the account with an sms to my mobile phone. All fine.
Two days ago I cleaned all internet history.
Today I wanted to login again and password is not accepted. I deleted one and two letter of the password at end just to check if I screwed up.
Didn't work
I then started a recovery process and I'm asked to use the last password I can remember.
Next step I see "Get a verification code" to phone but the last two numbers for the phone number are not recognized by me. I don't have that phone number anywhere today or in the past.
I very much doubt the account has been hacked.
I created the account with same pc I'm sitting on now as we speak.
This all sounds like total bullshit while I'm waiting for important emails to arrive
Has any of you encountered something similar?
