All that lost cheap labor. Much of it provided to folks that live in 'GATED COMMUNITIES'.
Much of their election funds come from that support.
As long as these folks are here in illegal status, they effectively become indentured servants. Hard to make a labor relations claim because they fear deportation.
So they can treat them like shit, pay them very little and whip them to taste !
If they run-off... there are others to replace them.
It's a legal method to break wage law and throw labor laws out the window.
Try living in the real world, not the political spin world.
