Billionaires make their money in different ways. But a lot make it from Globalisation. That's the designing of a product in the West then manufacturing in the 3rd World then shipping it back to the 1st to sell. Next is automation, this requires the installing of machines and sacking humans. Third is immigration, from foreign scientists, doctors to construction workers and fast food workers. Employers requiring skilled workers now no longer need to train them, they just go abroad and cherry pick or now governments train them. Or the students pay to be trained and at the end no guaranty of a job. The low skilled workers market is flooded with migrants forcing wages down.

The analogy that the wealthy create the jobs the economy needs is no longer true.

But while they cut jobs and wages the people don't disappear. They need the State to support them. But, and it's a big one, the billionaires want to pay as little into the tax system to support the world they created. They hide and avoid taxes at all costs. Another system is badly needed.

Trump had a couple of good things to say. One was force China and others to buy more or sell less into the US. And zero tolerance on illegal immigrants.
