This in itself just sounds so strange these days. That idea that we need people to physically deliver junk mail to each and every home through a monstrous, multi billion dollar network of ineffectiveness and waste and multi billion dollar annual losses.
Who is old enough to remember the xerox commercials about the "paperless office" (maybe late 70's)? we were lied to.
Even worse were the expectations set by Space 1999 when I was a child watching re-runs. Now we still have a guy in a shitty van physically going house to house to deliver coupons to some shit store, for a shit product you'll never buy.
