That's because there are MUCH MORE moderate Christians, Catholics and Jews than there are muslims.
Could he be against Jihad? Possibly, but since there are so few moderate muslims my guess is no.
Edit, looking back he said it's (jihad) "too deep" for him to decide. So obviously I was right. Like I said - finding a moderate muslim is like finding a unicorn.
