So I hear the big tax evasion scheme is Trump appealing the tax assessments on his properties
Democrats are so fucking stupid. It reminds me of a time when I filed for a tax assessment review. I'm sitting there by myself in this room with 5 people sitting on this elevated "judge" like bench looking down on me. The issue at hand was I was about to either demolish a house or rehab it and I was seeking to temporarily reduction in the assessment until completion of rehab. The assessed value was costing me about $400 a mo. By reducing it, it would have freed up some debt to income to qualify for a larger loan. I wasn't going to continue paying $400 a month in taxes on a home that wasn't livable.
So I gave them 2 options.. Reduce my assessed value 2 years, I'll rehab the property and turn it into higher tax valued property.. Option 2, I'll take a $15,000 grant and tear the fucker down. All of these people were high ranking "officials" in the city. The guy who was apparently some higher up in housing authority shot off to me "So what, tear it down, you'll still have to pay these taxes" I laughed at first and then just looked at him like he was the stupid fuck that he was... That's when the "counsel" chimes in "Ummm actually, no, if he tears it down it's reduced to land value"
It was pretty fucking amazing to me that this person was the head of anything being so goddamn stupid..
