Meghan Markle says she wants to raise her baby with a “gender-fluid” approach.

As reported in The Daily Express, a source close to the royals told Vanity Fair that “Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby. Her exact word was ‘fluid.’”
Markle and her royal husband “plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes,” the source said.
While the source was unclear on what exactly Markle meant by “fluid,” Elle had details about the princess’ baby shower that seem to shed a bit more light on her approach. “Meghan’s baby shower in New York City was gender neutral, despite buzz on social media that somehow the decorations or gift bags hinted the baby’s gender. Five-star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten created treats in gender neutral tones.”
Daniel Martin, Markle’s makeup artist, posted one of these nonbinary treats on Instagram.
