This has been obvious for years now.. at the very least since their actions against Obama, then Hillary, but probably longer.. Republicans have propped up their political party over Country for years now it's just now they are so blatant about it more people take notice.
I've been saying Republicans put party over country for years now. It's been extremely obvious to me since the 2000 Bush /Gore election.
