Serious question, I won't attack you for your honest answer.
It's not because of the color of one's skin it has to do with IQ, illegitimacy rates and culture amongst other things. In the 40s and 50s blacks had much lower crime rates. They were still 3-4 times higher than whites, but now they're 12-30 times depending on the crime.
