First of all, Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State, had zero power to do anything during the Benghazi attack. Responding to a military attack on a embassy is not a State Department function. It would have been a military function, and the Secretary of State does not have the ability to issue such orders.

Second... Even if we the President did order troops into Benghazi, full throttle, using a quick reaction team out of Italy.... It would have taken us twenty-four hours. This is not sending in a single helicopter with six Navy Seals on it and the problem is solved. This would have required dozens if not hundreds of troops and they would have be not only heavily armed but also have the ability to shelter in place for 48-72 hours. I'm sorry, but it just wasn't possible.

Anyone says anything about "thirteen hours" or Benghazi utterly fails to understand the actual tactical position on the ground.
