Intelligent HIV negative men don’t have sex with positive men for fear of acquiring AIDS. Semi-intelligent HIV negative men have anal sex with positive men and use a condom. Uninformed HIV negative men have sex with positive men.
It doesn’t always spread. My bff has been positive since age eighteen and had no meds until a decade ago. He’s forty-nine next month, on meds, and healthy. When not on meds he stayed home daily to avoid germs. Oh, his husband has been with him twenty years now and never used a condom. He’s HIV negative.
It’s risky but some men feel life is a risk. These days they can’t cure HIV but can treat it long-term.
Women can and have spread AIDS to men who don’t use condoms.
