His speech was just giving his opinion. But you don’t defame religions on live tv without expecting retribution.
No one had attacked in Australia yet. Yet. A plan might be in motion right now. Should the citizens of Australia suffer the consequences of one senator who speaks out of his ass and doesn’t represent all Australians?
IF an attack happens, and proof that it’s because of his statement is shown, I think eggs on his head are the least of his worries.

I lived in Australia for 5 years.
One of the many differences between Australia & New Zealand is that guns are much more difficult to get in Australia. You have to have a specific use gun license (farmers, hunters, police, etc.) and they are difficult to get. You cannot get a gun license for self-defense.
They made their gun laws very restrictive after a number of mass shootings.
