The graph above comes from this website: Roy Spencer, PhD by someone named Roy Spencer, a PHD and an author. Some of Mr. Spencer's books are "An inconvenient Deception" and "Global Warming Skepticism for Busy People", and "How Mother Natured Fooled the Worlds Climate Scientists".

FBI Directory McCabe is selling a book, and has had his findings about Trump dismissed on GFY because of it. I won't dismiss Spencer's ideas because he is selling books, but I think you would agree that maybe his website and its contents could be used to backup any claims in his books and help sell them. It's at least possible, right?

So anyway : On his website he talks a lot about CO2 and how little of it there is in the atmosphere, but he doesn't really talk about the other greenhouse gasses except in passing from what I could see.

But as I kept reading I found a lot of things that he was just wrong on. I googled him and found some sites like these

My point is that this is just 1 scientist. He could be right, but, I would prefer to put my trust in agencies like NASA and NOAA who have many more testing methods at their disposal, and have many many scientists looking at all of the data, instead of just one guy selling books.

I'm not saying he's wrong and you are wrong in this argument - I'm just saying that neither you nor I are scientists - but I am choosing to believe that the earth is warming up, and that it can be a disaster, and that I don't want to really just sit on my hands about it.

Weather refers to atmospheric conditions that occur locally over short periods of time—from minutes to hours or days. Familiar examples include rain, snow, clouds, winds, floods or thunderstorms.

Climate, on the other hand, refers to the long-term regional or even global average of temperature, humidity and rainfall patterns over seasons, years or decades.

What is global warming?
Global warming refers to the long-term warming of the planet since the early 20th century, and most notably since the late 1970s, due to the increase in fossil fuel emissions since the Industrial Revolution. Worldwide since 1880, the average surface temperature has gone up by about 1 °C (about 2 °F), relative to the mid-20th-century baseline (of 1951-1980). This is on top of about an additional 0.15 °C of warming from between 1750 and 1880.

What is climate change?
Climate change refers to a broad range of global phenomena created predominantly by burning fossil fuels, which add heat-trapping gases to Earth’s atmosphere. These phenomena include the increased temperature trends described by global warming, but also encompass changes such as sea level rise; ice mass loss in Greenland, Antarctica, the Arctic and mountain glaciers worldwide; shifts in flower/plant blooming; and extreme weather events.

I don't think the science is weak.

And if politicians are just trying to get money for themselves, what do you say about politicians who are trying trying to convince us that everything is fine, to relax emission standards on cars, and fire up more coal plants. Isn't it possible that they are doing a money grab?
