I recently found a lawyer who takes copyright infringement cases on contingency. He sued someone who stole one of my images the same day I contacted him, and negotiated a settlement within three weeks.

The settlement agreement I signed has a confidentiality clause, so I can't reveal the name of the other party or the amount recovered, but I was very happy with the result. The proceeds (after some minor expenses) were split 50/50. We are currently suing another infringer.
