It was lies before that as well.. Trump was lying about his connections to Russia before he was even elected. He lied about the Moscow Trump tower deal up until just a few months ago when Cohen was indicted.. I still don't think he's even publicly told the truth about that but rather the proof was shown to the American people in form of evidence presented at Cohen's congressional testimony..
