Yea, it's great news, I saw it all over the country when I traveled but also when I drove trucks. There are wind and solar farms everywhere. It's mostly wind out west and solar to the east.

When I lived in Co, I actually worked for a coal industry company. They developed one of the "clean coal" systems that was installed in coal plants all over the US. (Clean Coal is of course bullshit because the carbon injection system pulled the Mercury out of the smoke before it hits the air but then you have all this carbon laced with mercury that they have to do something with. (the great idea by the coal industry was to inject the mercury laced carbon into fracking wells..

When I started there was over 300 people working there, tons of engineers and high paying jobs. By the time I left there was 50 of us left. They saw the writing on the wall. They had a choice spend millions developing newer tech for a dying industry or lay everyone off and sit back while the board of directors raked in the 800 million a year residual income.

Obviously they laid everyone off and laughed all the way to the bank..

I've known for a long time even then that coal was dead. No one is building new coal plants, not even China. The simple fact is wind, solar and natural gas is cheaper power to produce. Coal is quite simply too expensive so the market has spoken..

Trump and Republicans are just selling lies to gullible fools who want to believe them..
